I have not done a favorites since my Summer Favorites so I figured why not do one now. I have a few products that I have been loving and using a lot during this month of November and I wanted to share those with you. I will probably start doing these more often so I can show some products I love and possibly get some suggestions on products I should be loving. A few of these products I just purchased in November but have been using them all week long.
NARS Laguna Bronzer-I talked about this bronzer here and I actually do not have the single bronzer but I have it in the NARS Virtual Domination Cheek Palette and I love it. the bronzer is the perfect brown with slight shimmer for an everyday subtle contour or bronzing and I have used it everyday that I have worn makeup since I purchased it.
Real Techniques Setting Brush & Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder- This brush is amazing, super soft and sets perfectly. It is small enough that it fits right under the eye and in the inner corner, it is the only thing I use to set my concealer and it's inexpensive. I just started using it with the Laura Mercier Powder and it is perfection, It sets the under eyes and actually helps with creasing and it does not give me a crazy cast or flash when taking pictures.
ELF Bronzer in Baked Peach & Makeup Geek Blush in Smitten- I use these two in combination as a blush, the bronzer is a pretty peach shade with a slight shimmer and I layer that on top of the creamsicle orange blush from makeup geek. They also are great alone but for my skin tone they can be a little too light so I tend to mix them together most of the time and they go with any eye look or just an everyday flush of color on the cheeks.
MAC Styled in Sepia-This is a matte lipstick described as a "dirty cement beige" on the MAC website. I have been loving this lipstick but honestly it gives me the kind of dead look but for some reason I do not mind it lol. I don't know if I need a lip liner or to gloss it up but I will figure out a way to make it look more alive.

Coastal Scents Hot Pots in Barista, Oatmeal Tan, Petal Peach, and Tuscan Terra Cotta- These have been my most used shades since I bought these hot pots and did a haul on them here. They are pigmented, buttery, and blendable; I use them every time I do my eye makeup as crease colors or transition colors and they are the perfect brown or peachy colors for my skin tone.
Coastal Scents Eclipse Palette-When I got this in my Boxycharm I laughed because a little while before that box I had threw the same exact palette away because I used up all of the colors I actually liked and it was pretty old. I was happy to get this palette but because of the cream consistency I only use it to clean up around my brows. I like it because it is thick and covers all the hairs around my brows that need to be tweezed, I am letting my eyebrows grow back out so this is a lifesaver and really cleans that area up.
ELF Body Glow-This is a great bronze, golden powder that I use as a highlight on my cheekbones, bridge of my nose, and cupids bow. It is pretty shimmery and gold so I use it with my more subtle looks and it is perfect on my no makeup makeup days for a perfect pop on the cheekbones. Highlighter is an item I ALWAYS have to wear when I do the most dramatic look to mascara and lipstick so this product works perfect and its huge!! This will last forever.
Thayers Lavender Witch Hazel- I added this to my night time skin care routine a little over a month ago and I love the feeling it gives my face at night. It is so refreshing and I don't know if it's in my head or if it is really working but I feel like it helps me relax if I use it right before bed.

Love Styled in Sepia. I use a slightly warmer lip pencil from MAC underneath (Stripdown) and it kind of livens it up a little, especially if you create a slightly ombre effect with it.
ReplyDeleteI may have to try that lip pencil out I have been wanting a few more things from MAC anyways so perfect timing.
