Liebster Awards...My Nominees Are...

I was nominated for a Liebster Awards by the amazing Rebs over a Beauty on a Beer Budget and lets just say I am beyond excited and grateful! I did not see this coming at all especially from one of the bloggers that I actually love.  I do not drink beer but I promise her blog will make you want to try some and she loves beauty so what more could I ask for!?  I would like to thank everyone who supports my blog and those who support bloggers as a whole, I am new to this but I have definitely figured out fast that you need the support of other bloggers to help get the word out there!

  6. My favorite show is Girlfriends (went off the air forever ago) I have the box set, thanks to my boyfriend, and I watch it almost every single day, I have probably seen all 8 seasons, in order 15 + times and it never gets old!

  9. I love to have concerts, starring myself, when I am driving in my car or home alone

11 Questions to Answer:

1. Why did you start blogging?
I have wanted to since I started building my collection after watching thousands of YouTube videos, I finally built up the courage to do it. I just wanted to do it from a standpoint of someone who was not a professional and I also wanted to throw in some tips and motivational segments about inner beauty because even though I love makeup I don't wear it everyday and I feel like inner beauty needs to shine through as well!

2. What is your favorite thing to do to relax?
Watch YouTube videos or my favorite show Girlfriends
 
3. What’s your favorite thing to cook?
Hmmmm, probably Lasagna

4. What is a pet peeve of yours?
This may sound rude, but hey at least I'm being honest.  I cannot stand people who act dumb because they think it is cute.  Like when girls think guys find them more attractive when they act dumb or when guys think it is cool to act dumb or do dumb thing to seem "cool" in front of there friends.  What I find out in the end is that those same kids who you think you are impressing would like you far better if you were just yourself because truth is they are all very intelligent as well and would also like their friends to be!!

 5. What’s your favorite beauty product?
Just one? Ummm, I love mascara because just that can change your life! But I also love bronzer and highlighters/illuminators, and lippies!!

 6. Who would you consider your style icon?
Honestly, I don't think I have one specific person at all.  I wear what I want when I want to but I love the 80's fashion so maybe not an actual person but everyone from the 80's (and btw I was not even born until 1990 lol)

7. What’s your favorite splurge item?
Beauty wise- palettes
Fashion wise- shoes, I love shoes!

8. What superhero power would you like to have?
I would love to be invisible

9. What’s your favorite movie?
Love & Basketball if I can only choose 1

10. Name a guilty pleasure!
Shopping

11. Pick an animal that best describes your personality!
This is a hard one, maybe a Lioness because I am always trying to protect my loved one's, I would do anything to protect or save them!
