I don't know about you but I am addicted to YouTube which is actually how my makeup addiction started. One of the channels I love to watch is Missy Lynn, she has a beauty, lifestyle, and fashion blog as well as a vlog channel. She has already teamed up with Gerard Cosmetics to create the "Cocoa Bean" gloss but now she has an entire eyeshadow and baked highlighter palette with Bh Cosmetics. No, I do not know her but I do love her channel and this palette so I decided to do a mini review.
The palette is great size for travel and has pretty much everything you need to do some subtle eye looks or even more dramatics sultry and smoky looks. It is a heavy duty cardboard type of material that closes firmly with a magnet and has a really large mirror, 6 eyeshadows, and two baked highlighters.
Top Row: The first shade is a pale gold/cream type of color which is great as a brow highlight or a highlight on the high points of the cheek and bridge of the nose. The middle top shade is a bronze eyshadow that is really pretty and pigmented. Beside that is a dark brown shade that is perfect for a crease color and seems to be a matte shade.
Middle Row: The first shade on the second row is more of a light brown/orange type of color, it's hard to explain but it is one of those shades that is perfect for a transition color on my skin tone so it is the color I reach for most. The middle shade is a really pretty purple shade and the last color is a dark blue/purple shade that I use for the outer v but it can obviously be used however you choose.
Lastly, the third row has two baked highlighters, the left on is more of a gold highlight and the right is more of a rose gold highlight and they can be mixed with each other to highlight the face or even mixed with that top pale gold/cream color shadow.
Overall, I LOVE the palette, the shades, the consistency, the payoff, the price and everything else. This is definitely something I could see myself using everyday and even on those days when I want a little extra UMPH!! I may even try to make those brown shades work as bronzers/contour powders, if so this palette can be full face approved! I definitely recommend buying this palette especially if you like more neutral shadows with a little pop or color. Here is the link...
