It's that time of month already huh? Well this month I am very proud because I worked through not only a lot of full-size products but also a bunch of sample size products. This is my largest empties post so let's just get into it...
1. St. Ives Oatmeal & Shea Butter Body Wash-This is not a body wash I buy but one that my gram uses when she is here visiting for Christmas so I decided to use up what was left. It works fine but nothing spectacular to me so I will not repurchase
2. Aveeno Positively Nourishing Hydrating Body Wash- I got this in a 2-pack at Sam's Club some months ago and it lasted forever! I really liked the smell and it lathers up really nice and is hydrating. Another good thing is you only need a little, I usually go overboard with body wash but if I paid more attention while pouring it out it probably could have lasted even longer. I would definitely repurchase!
3. Crest Pro Health Complete Anti-Cavity Flouride Rinse-Alcohol Free- nothing new! This is a staple that I talked about in a past empties here
4. Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes-I really like the Neutrogena wipes but these that I just used up I didn't really like. The labeling on this one and the one I normally buy is a little different so I'm assuming they are different wipes. For that I will not repurchase this one but I will continue to purchase the Neutrogena wipes.
5. Garnier Smoothing Cream Cleanser-Love it! Already repurchased. We know, based on past reviews like this one here, that I like a thicker creamier face wash and this is perfect. I really have been loving the Garnier brand lately so this will be my go to staple cleanser and it's at the drugstore so I don't have to search all across the world to find it.
6. Olay Fresh Effects Everything Off Deluxe Makeup Removal Wet Cloths **sample- These were decent, I wouldn't repurchase but for a sample pack they did good enough to get through the pack with no major complaints.
7. Crème of Nature Strength & Shine Leave-In Conditioner w/ Argan Oil from Morocco- This leave in is EVERYTHING!! I have always used leave-in conditioners and since I found this one a couple years ago it is all I use. I love the smell and I feel like it really does give me shine and strength, I have been trying to get my hair healthy and find staple items that work and this is one I have been sticking with and yes I always keep a couple in my hair stash.
8. Jergens Shea Butter Deep Conditioning Moisturizer w/ pure African Shea Butter- This is my second time purchasing the lotion and I really do like it. There is another lotion I want to try and a million samples that I need to use up but it is definitely worth a repurchase, I just won't be repurchasing in the very near future.
9. Bath and Body Works "Be Enchanted" Fragrance Mist- You already know I am on a sort of "project pan" mission with all of my body mists. I have so many and I am trying to use them up so I sit one out and use that one body mist up until its gone then pull another one out. That is why you probably see one almost every empties. This one is a really nice smell not too sweet which I like and the bath and body works mists lasting power is great so I would repurchase this scent but not until I empty everything out.
10. Mary Kay Botanical Effects Hydrate for Dry Skin-This is my second bottle of this moisturizer and is definitely a staple or will become a staple. I am using up and older pond's moisturizer now but as soon as that's gone I am going to stock up on this again. It is extremely moisturizing, a little goes a long way, and it gives me a sort of glow without being greasy. And they have different types for different skin types, it's amazing! If you haven't tried it you should.
11. Now 100% Pure Peppermint Oil-I use this in my hair on wash days, I use it mixed with other oil for my pre-poo and sometimes mixed in with my deep conditioner. I think it is supposed to help with stimulation of the scalp which in turns will help with growth. I have been using this and tea tree oil in my hair for a while now and my hair is growing, not as fast as I would like; but it is growing, I don't know if this particular product is doing all the work but it's not hurting my hair so I continue to use and will repurchase. And it really cuts the smell of the tea tree oil and my family hates the smell of the tea tree oil lol!
12. Juliette Has A Gun Not A Perfume **sample-This may be my favorite scent ever! The only reason I have yet to buy the full-size is the price. It is not even really a perfume but one single scent called Cetalox which is usually used as a back note in other fragrances. I thought that was pretty cool. But it is hard to describe but it is the perfect woodsy sensual scent. I will one day bite the bullet or save up my birchbox points to buy or at least put towards the purchase.
13. One A Day Women's VitaCraves Gummies-I think I talked about these before and said I wanted to try something different but I decided to just stick with it. Nothing really exciting here but I like that they are gummies and they taste great.
14. Essential Elements Shower Gel **sample-Another product from my stash I had to use up. The smell I cannot explain but it was strong and I liked it, kind of manly and woodsy and pepperminty all at once!? Idk you have to smell it to understand. I wouldn't repurchase just because I already have my favorite staple body washes but it was good while it lasted.
15. Glam Glow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment **sample-This was a really weird mask that I don't even think I used right...was I supposed to completely rub it in? I didn't and it never dried so I'm not sure what to make of that. I think my face did seem a little more hydrated after using it but looking at the full-size price I need it to work wonders for me to even think about considering to purchase and it didn't so definitely will not be purchasing.
16. Philosophy Loveswept shampoo, bath and shower gel **sample- I got this as a gift with purchase from Ulta when I bought my Hope In A Jar Night Cream a few months back but I just pulled it out of my shower gel stash to use it up. It was ok, the smell was nice and light florally and sweet but I had to use a lot to get the later I like. I wouldn't purchase the full-size but for a free gift it worked fine.
17. Philosophy Hope in a Jar **sample-This is a really thin lightweight moisturizer that I did not enjoy very much. I hated that it was so thin (some people may like for a day time moisturizer) and I could not stand the smell so I mixed it with my ponds moisturizer and liked it a little better that way but would definitely repurchase.
18. Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser **sample-I actually really liked this and used this foil packet the other night to cleanse my face after using a makeup wipe. It has a really nice gel consistency but has a oil feel at the same time, smells like citrus and it removed everything even my mascara and it did not burn or irritate my eyes. I would not purchase anytime soon just because I like the products I currently use to remove makeup and cleanse but I would definitely consider it if I was looking for a similar product.
19. LeKair Cholesterol Plus Strengthening and Conditioning Cream-This is another staple hair product that I have been using since I was a kid. It works and it is super cheap so I will continue to repurchase, even though I do try different deep conditioners from time to time this will always be my favorite go to deep conditioner.
20. Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub in Coconut Line- This was my first time purchasing this and I loved it and the price. It smells great, it is not a "weak" sugar scrub it actually really works and makes my skin super smooth. My favorite for the price range so I will be repurchasing this but I do want to try the other scents available.
I decided to keep track of how many products I use up this year so at the end of each empties post I will tally up the info and hopefully work through majority if not all of my stash by the end of the year.
