Night Time Skin Care Routine - November 2014

Step 1: Remove Makeup
  • Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes
Step 2: Cleanse
  • Garnier Nourishing Cleansing Oil
  • Coconut Oil
** I use one of the above to cleanse my face after using my makeup remover wipes, just depends on which one I have at the moment.  To do so I take a good amount of the oil and rub it all over my face then use warm water and a towel to wipe away the makeup and remove the oil and it works wonders.  It also leaves my face very clean and moisturized but not greasy, and it removes everything and I actually notice that my skin has a "glow" to it and I love it.

Step 3: Tone
  • Thayers Lavender Witch Hazel w/ Aloe Vera
**I just started toning at night and have been using this for about a week or two and I really love it and the lavender is calming and also smells amazing.

Step 4: Serum
  • Palmetto Derma Collagen Booster & Restoration Serum
  • Bio-Oil
**Normally, I use a very small amount of bio-oil as my "serum" at night but in my October Boxycharm I received an actual serum so I am currently using the Palmetto serum.

Step 5: Moisturize
  • Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream
  • Hope in a Jar Night Intense Retexturizing Moisturizer
**Both of these are very new but I do really like them and I only use a very small amount of each and my skin feels very moisturized all night.  I think these two may be staples in my routine, and just a heads up the Hope in a Jar has a really weird smell but it fades after a couple minutes so it is nothing to worry about.

Step 6: Treat (Only When Needed)
  • Freeman Feeling Beautiful Avocado & Oatmeal Facial Clay Mask
  • MaryKay Clear Proof Acne Treatment Gel
  • Tea Tree Oil
** If I do not have a sample mask from one of my many subscription boxes I use this. I try to use it 1-2 times a week depending on how much makeup I wear that week and it is just a great clay mask.  As far as the clear proof acne treatment gel, I only use it when I have a breakout.  My skin is generally very clear but every blue moon I get a pimple or a few very small bumps on my forehead and I use this.  If I feel like this is not working the way I like or as fast as I like I use pure tea tree oil and that definitely does the trick.
