Each week on Friday, I will post some part of my makeup collection. I mainly just wanted to show different things I have tried and maybe get some advice on what else I NEED (or want) to add to my collection.
Up this Friday, another one of my favorite things and an item I add to everything from my no makeup looks, to my full face routine.....Highlighters & Illuminators
First let's start with my ELF Shimmering Facial Whips and on the website they are described as "on-the-go whipped highlighter packed with Vitamin E to instantly brighten and soothe skin with no greasy after-feel" they can be used anywhere on the face but I tend to use them on the high points of my cheekbones as a highlight. The three colors I have (top to bottom) are Golden Peach, Lilac Petal, and Spotlight!
Next, my liquid Highlighters and Illuminators one of which you just saw in my September Birchbox that I use as an actual highlight. The other two I use as illuminators and mix them in with my tinted moisturizers and bb creams. Top to Bottom we have Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation Illuminator in Sheer Beige, Temptu S/B Highlighter in Champagne Shimmer, and Josie Maran Argan Illuminizer.
This one here is my only cream stick highlighter and it is the Benefit Watts Up which I love running down the bridge of my nose and my cupids bow.
Lastly, I have all of my powder highlights and they all actually are pressed powders, some of my favorites are powder products because I just feel like they are more HELLO HIGHLIGHT than some of my cream or liquid highlights. First lets start with the two that are swatched vertically from left to right I have Ruby Kisses All Over Glow in Light Glow then I have my Wet n Wild Color Icon Bronzer in Reserve Your Cabana. The Wet n Wild Bronzer (who is bronzing with this, because I sure can't!) I use as an under eye highlight to set concealer or to highlight the brow bone, it is pretty matte so those are the only two ways I can use this product. The other horizontal swatches from top to bottom are Elf Blush in Gotta Glow, TheBalm Mary Loumanizer, and ELF Healthy Glow Broning Powder in Luminance (discontinued)
Out of all the products listed above the ones I reach for the most are My Josie Maran Argan Illuminizer, TheBalm Mary Loumanizer and my ELF Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in Luminance.
