New series: Each week on Friday, I will post some part of my makeup collection. This will not really be an in-depth review although I will tell you what is my favorite and least favorite and why I love or hate a product, I mainly just wanted to show different things I have tried and maybe get some advice on what else I NEED (or want) to add to my collection.
This Friday I am starting with one of my favorite things to buy.....Concealer
ELF Maximum Coverage Concealer in Nude, this was my first concealer that I actually fell in love with and I mainly use it underneath my eyes but it is pretty much my color (w/o sun) so it is not much of a highlight. ($3.00)
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 10-Light, this has definitely become my favorite concealer and it is very light but once it blends in with the color from my tinted moisturizer and set it with a darker setting powder it is the perfect highlight color. I mostly love the consistency and the applicator, it is not think at all it is creamy perfection. ($7.29 @ Walgreens)
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circles Eraser Concealer in Neutralizer, now this is far to light and comes of almost completely white but I use it underneath my tinted moisturizer or bb cream and it kind of gives me a more natural highlight or "glow from within" It is definitely a little more dry than the others which is another reason I do not use it on top of my tinted moisturizer as a highlight. ($9.49 @ Walgreens)
L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer, now these I tried because they were so popular on YouTube and I like them for a more full coverage day or when I am only doing concealer and powder. I have 8 of 18 shades and I use them for highlighting, coverage, contouring, and even eye shadow bases on occasion. ($2.29 on ikatehouse.com)
Top: Natural, Creamy Beige, Classic Ivory, Pure Beige
Bottom: Nude, Medium Beige, Toffee
Lastly, and my least favorite is the ELF Complete Coverage Concealer Palette in Light and there is not much to say I have only swatched it and the colors seem to be very ashy and dry and I like a more creamy concealer. It basically just sits in my vanity because I don't want to throw it away. ($3.00)
Tell me what your favorite concealers are and what I should try, and let me know what products you want to see next!
