August 2014 "Beauty Schooled" Ipsy Glam Bag

Ok, so I think we all know the basics when it comes to Ipsy, it's $10.00 per month and you get around 5 sample size products, some are high-end some are inexpensive.  I think it is a good mix and I actually loved this month's Ipsy Bag but do the sample's seem extra miniature to anyone else?  Last month's Ipsy bag is here and my referral link is here!!

 

 

Anyways, the white and orange polka dot bag is super cute and would be good for travel brushes or lippies or anything else really but let's get to it and see what's in my bag.

 

Ok so, I wanted to try something new to let you guys know excited I was about the products in my subscription boxes but making it a little more simple, so I came up with some phrases that would express how I feel about each product in the box.  The phrases are also based on my first impression of opening the box, not once I actually tried the products. The key of phrases and translations are below.

 

Level of Excitement Radar

Huh? What? Why? (translation: I don't even understand why this is in here)

Umm, ok (translation: I guess I can find something to do with this)

Cool! (translation: something I don't really need but could never have too many of)

Aww, that's cute (translation: I could live without it, but it's great that its there and I can definitely put it to use)

Oh, ok yep they did it this month (translation: Shocked and excited that they put something this amazing in this $10 subscription Box) 

 

Dr. Brandt Pores No More Pore Refiner Primer (Oh, oh yep they did it this month)

Lord & Berry Kohl Liner in #1001 Black (Oh, oh yep they did it this month)

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara (Oh, oh yep they did it this month)

Coastal Scents Forever Blush in Fresh (Left) & Elegant (Right) (Aww, that's cute)

You're the Balm Green Apple Lip Balm (Cool!)
